About Event

This hands-on session provides clinicians with essential skills in performing direct composite overlay restorations for posterior teeth with structural loss due to wear, erosion, or fracture. Participants will learn clinical protocols including diagnosis, occlusal planning, material selection, and step-by-step composite layering techniques to achieve functional and esthetic outcomes. The direct overlay approach offers a minimally invasive yet durable restorative option with chairside efficiency. Through practical exercises, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of biomechanical considerations, as well as proper finishing and polishing techniques to ensure long-term success of composite overlay restorations in daily clinical practice.
