Sleep-related breathing disorders, such as obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), can affect individuals across all age groups—from children to the elderly. Dental sleep medicine plays a crucial role in the early identification and multidisciplinary management of these conditions. This hands-on session is designed to equip participants with practical skills in recognizing clinical signs of OSA, performing relevant intraoral evaluations, and selecting or adjusting oral appliances tailored to different age categories. Real-life case scenarios will be discussed interactively to enhance clinical decision-making. The session also emphasizes effective communication strategies with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, especially in the context of long-term therapy. By the end of the workshop, participants will be better prepared to actively contribute to the comprehensive care of patients with sleep-related disorders through dental approaches.
