About Event
Gingival pigmentation refers to discoloration of the gingiva usually caused by the accumulation of melanin, hemoglobin, or other pigments. This condition can result in the gingiva appearing darker, such as brown or black, depending on the cause. If pigmentation occurs in the anterior region, it can affect aesthetics. Gingival depigmentation treatment can be performed to address this issue.
In this hands-on session, participants will learn about various methods tailored to the clinical condition of the patient, surgical techniques, and post-treatment management to ensure optimal comfort and healing. Participants will gain direct experience through clinical demonstrations and practical exercises to develop skills that can be immediately applied. This training will enhance dentists’ abilities to manage gingival pigmentation and improve patient confidence.
